Belle Élégante Beauty Studio ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit belleelegante.nl or book an appointment, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the GDPR (AVG).

What data we collect

Booking & appointment data

When you book an appointment through our online booking system (operated on our behalf by a third-party booking provider), we collect your name, email address, phone number, and appointment details. This is necessary to schedule, confirm, and remind you of your appointment.

Payment data

Appointments are secured with a deposit, processed by our payment provider, Mollie. We do not store your card or bank details ourselves. Mollie processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Contact form & email

If you email us or use a contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message) to respond to your enquiry.

Website analytics & advertising

We use the following third-party tools on our website:

• Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics: to understand how visitors use our site.
• Google Ads: to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and, where relevant, match ad clicks to completed bookings.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel: to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.

Why we process your data

• To provide the treatment you booked (contract performance)
• To send appointment confirmations and reminders
• To process payment of your deposit
• To improve our website and measure advertising performance (legitimate interest / consent)
• To comply with legal obligations, such as bookkeeping requirements

Who we share data with

We share data only with parties who help us run our business: our booking & website hosting providers, our payment provider (Mollie), and analytics/advertising platforms (Google, Meta) as described above. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep your data

We keep booking and payment records for as long as required by Dutch tax law (currently 7 years). Marketing/analytics data is retained according to each platform's own default retention settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@belleelegante.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
